Its time again for the annual pre-Turkey Day throw down at JnPs!! In the spirit of the holiday we are crazy excited to share the stage with JnP’s own Invitational House Band. These shows are always special and lot of fun. It is always great to see people back in town who are not always around. We have a lot to be thankful for and plan to rock it pretty hard and work up a good appetite for Thanksgiving. SO come on out and don’t forget to bring the cranberry sauce…no nuts. See you there!

Its that time again…We are proud to announce our return to John & Peter’s for MIXXTAPE’s Annual Halloween Bash. This year we’ve got Flux Capacitor kicking off the night and a Huge Costume contest with 1st place getting a $100 John and Peter’s gift certificate, 2nd place $50 and 3rd getting a $25 gift certificate! Album Release Party, Dates and MIXXER Fest 2011!!
Spring is here and new album has arrived!! Its true, its in our hands! The MIXXTAPE is happy to announce that our new album “Bridge” is completed and will be released this Friday, April 29th at JB Kline and Son Gallery in Lambertville, NJ. Our good friend John Beacher will start the festivities 8pm. We cannot express how excited we are to share our first full length album with you. Along with the album release we are rolling out the slew of shows, including some new spots in New York City and Philadelphia, that we will hit this Spring and Summer on our “Bridge” tour.
Stay tuned for more dates and don’t forget to mark your calender for June 11th, the 3rd Annual “MIXXER - A music, art, camping, FOOD DRIVE festival”, will be taking place at Tower Farm in Ottsvile, PA. Official lineup and details will follow in the coming weeks!

On Shadfest weekend’s Friday night, The MIXXTAPE is having it’s album release party!!! Our good friend John Beacher opens the night and we are playing in a beautiful setting at the J.B. Kline and Son Gallery in Lambertville, NJ. Paid admission gets you a copy of the new album, plus a great night of music. Come early for we start at 8PM sharp and the show only goes to 11:30pm. We will also have the biggest & best LiteBrite art contest that we’ve ever done with one of the top prizes being a lifetime MIXXTAPE concert laminate!!! The MIXXTAPE loves to rock and also enjoys to partake in refreshing tasty beverages. The legendary venue, John and Peter’s were well aware of these facts and thus it was decreed that the MIXXTAPE shall unite with St. Patrick’s Day in a most awesome way! So come party with the band and the friendly people of New Hope on this joyous occasion!!
We will be also having a filthiest limerick and jig dance-off contest! The winner will receive a bottle of MIXXTAPE’s own special blend whiskey!! Distilled using the finest ingredients the New Hope flood plains have to offer. So call up your ol grand pappy because you know he’s got the goods…dressing the part is probably a good idea too and will score points with Cribber!!
